Our Story

Sugary Dozen originated in New Orleans, Louisiana with Frank and Blanche’s family tradition of celebrating birthdays and special events for their twelve children with homemade desserts.

Mrs. Blanche, aka “Maw Maw”, passed her family recipes from Mississippi and the gift of baking to her youngest daughter, Tracie.

Chef Tracie has earned degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana in College of Education as well as a Pastry and Patisserie Degree from LeCordon Bleu in Georgia.

Her two passions of working with the community and baking delicious pastries come together with intriguing desserts and tutorials everyone can enjoy.
Sugary Dozen offers 12 delicious desserts representing the favorite of each sibling.

Today, the family owned business offers everything from creative cookies, cakes, pies, cheesecakes, dessert boxes and more!
All of the desserts are made with LOVE!
